Martin de Kuiper.
Martin leads the courses of Blacksmithing, gives round tours in the museum and regularly demonstrates the art of Blacksmithing to the public.
Martin was born in Amsterdam where he was a blacksmith for years. He has lost his heart in Hellendoorn where he now enjoys working at the Blacksmith museum. Come on in and have a chat with Martin, you will enjoy it!

Jan Broeze
Jan Broeze is the chairman and founder of D'Oale Smederie foundation. He has been a working blacksmith from his early ages on and has put a lot of horse on new shoes. Blacksmithing really is his passion. Although creating and designing blacksmithing art objects is his hobby, he knows the work of a true blacksmith all too well. You may find Jan almost every day at work in the museum.

Jan Hosmar
Jan Hosmar has responsibility for controlling the foundation's finances. He has a technical job at a textile company nearby but almost every evening and during most weekends, you can usually find him working at the Blacksmith museum, repairing machinery and old craftmen's tools.
